Are you worried about a neighbour?

Are you worried about the welfare of your neighbour?

Are you concerned they are isolated, have money worries, can’t heat their home, or worried they’re not coping at home?

If so, and you would like to let us know, we may be able to look into this for you. Click the link below and complete the form to share your concern with our housing team. They may be able to offer your neighbour help and support.

Please note that this is not an emergency service. If you’re worried your neighbour is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999.

Our housing support service

We aim to provide homes which enable people to live happy and healthy lives in enriched communities.

We understand that there are times you will need extra support to do this and we are here to help.

Our housing support service provides a free of charge service to all of our residents.

What can you help with?

We can:

Volunteering opportunities

Could you volunteer some time to help your community?

Volunteering is a great for your wellbeing, and a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and give something back to the community.

We have volunteering opportunities available at NPH, and there are also lots of amazing organisations across Northampton you can get involved with. Our current opportunities are listed below, and find out more about the local organisations who need your help further down the page.

Adaptations Service

We are committed to helping people live independently in their home.

If you or anyone living at your home have a disability and are finding it difficult to get into and around your home or to use some of the facilities within your home we may be able to help by carrying out adaptations.

What do we provide?

  • Advice on equipment and/or adaptation for your home to support your needs
  • Advise and support on alternatives if adaptation is not possible

Some typical fixtures and fittings we provide include the following:

Hate Crime

It's not okay to be targeted because of who you are, and you have the right to live your life free from abuse or violence.

A hate crime is a criminal offence that needs to be reported to the police immediately, and you must let them know if you are concerned about your safety. If you are in immediate danger, or you need support straight away, call 999. If there is no immediate danger, you can report hate crime by calling 101.

Sustainability

We endeavour to operate responsibly in a changing world.

Our sustainability aims are important to us and our customers now, but they are also vitally important to future generations. We want to make sure our work meets current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs.

Everyone, from our residents and employees, to our suppliers and stakeholders, has a crucial role in making sure we meet our sustainability objectives. We are engaging with all of these groups to put our plans into action.

The Paint Shop

We've teamed up with Community RePaint to collect reusable, leftover paint and sell it to members of the community for a much reduced price. You can pick up a tin of paint for as little as £1 - 2 and save it going to landfill. That's what we call a result!

You don’t have to be an NPH tenant to shop there - but any profit is re-invested into services that support NPH tenants.

Northants Warm Homes Fund

Northampton Partnership Homes is a partner in the Northants Warm Homes Fund (WHF). The WHF is a Northamptonshire-wide initiative funded by National Grid’s Warm Homes Fund and administered by Affordable Warmth Solutions. The scheme aims to replace old-fashioned electric storage heaters with gas central heating and hot water systems.
