Lakeview House

This former care home has been vacant since it was closed in 2009. The site is owned by Northampton Borough Council with NPH acting on their behalf.

NPH have submitted plans approved by the authority to redevelop and replace the site with 45 new homes for older people. Work on the construction is scheduled to start in June 2017. Our contractors Keepmoat will be carrying out the work on NPH’s behalf.

Spring Boroughs

Our partners Willmott Dixon are working in Spring Boroughs on 5 separate redevelopments. These include the addition of 14 three bedroom and 2 four bedroom houses as well as nine 2 bedroom maisonettes with private terraced gardens and 9 one bedroom apartments, as well as a replacement shop in Little Cross Street.

The St Katherine’s Court block of flats is currently receiving external insulation cladding to the outside which will make it more energy efficient. This includes new windows and enclosed balconies for residents. On the inside new lobby areas are being built which will include bike storage for residents.

In Lower Bath Street we have demolished the existing garage site the building of new family sized council homes is well underway.

In Little Cross Street we are replacing the current properties which have been vacant for some time with new council housing. St Peter’s House has recently had an extension to the front which is now a shop. It has replaced the existing convenience shop located further down the street.

Kingsheath

NPH and our contractors Mears are working on modernising and refurbishing the blocks in Kingsheath.

Homes in the area are receiving refurbishments ranging from roof work to lobby redecoration, new windows, canopies, courtyard enhancements and security doors.

Toms Close

We have applied to Northampton Borough Council for planning permission to build 21 new homes at Toms Close. There is a huge demand for affordable housing in Northampton and if approved, this development will provide good quality homes in a great location for 21 families in housing need.

We have appointed contractors to carry out the first phase of the redevelopment, which will allow existing residents to remain in Toms Close. Pending planning approval, we will then be in the exciting position of being able to use this land to provide much needed affordable housing in Northampton.
