Planned Investment in Spring Boroughs

If you live in or near Spring Boroughs you may have noticed the hive of activity as our developments in the neighbourhood begin to take shape. NPH and one of our contractors Wilmott Dixon are building a total of 14 three bedroom homes, 2 four bedroom homes, nine 2 bedroom maisonettes and 9 one bedroom apartments on Little Cross Street, Lower Bath Street and Althorp Street.

In Lower Bath Street, work is well underway to build 14 three bedroom family homes. In Little Cross Street we are replacing the current properties which have been vacant for some time with new Council homes. Demolition of the vacant properties has already started and we’re really excited that new homes are on the way!

St Peter’s House located further up Little Cross Street is having a convenience shop added to the front of the building. Construction on the new shop is nearly finished.

We’ve applied for funding through Tesco’s Bags of Help Scheme to help residents in St Peter’s House create a communal garden on the existing green space. If you voted with your blue token when you were doing your shopping, we would like to say thank you for supporting this project. Watch this space for news on the results.

We’re also refurbishing existing homes in Spring Boroughs. Check out the new eye-catching exterior of St Katherine’s Court. Residents in the block will benefit from better energy efficiency from new external insulation and new “winter gardens”, which have been created by fitting new windows and balcony enclosures. We are also improving security, storage and communal areas as well as the appearance of the building as a whole.
