Vote for St Peter’s House Garden Project at the Tescos’ Bags of Help Scheme.
NPH are bidding to make the garden at St Peter’s House a space for all residents to enjoy! St Peter’s House in Spring Boroughs has a large garden in the middle of the block of flats.
Our Community Regeneration Officers recently asked residents in the area what they’d like to have in the garden. Feedback included opportunities to grow fruit and vegetables, places to sit and relax, a barbecue area, and a peaceful social space where children can safely play.
Bags of Help is Tesco’s exciting local community grant scheme where the money raised from the 5p bag charge is used to fund thousands of local projects in communities right across the UK.
Three community projects in each local area are voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK, with projects changing every other month. The project that receives the most votes receive a grant of up to £4,000, second place receiving up to £2,000 and third place up to £1,000.
The grant that goes towards St Peter’s House garden will help to buy and install raised beds, picnic benches, flowers and bedding plants.
