Appeal a decision on your housing application

How to Appeal

If you've received a decision on your housing application that you don't agree with, you can appeal this.

Why appeal?

The most common reasons why you may wish to appeal include:

  • you were not accepted on to the housing register
  • you think your banding priority should be higher
  • you have been removed from the housing register
  • you need special accommodation requirements.

How to appeal

Before competing our Appeals Form, please read our Applications Guidance Document. This document explains the appeal process in more detail and gives guidance on how to strengthen your appeal.

If you would like to find out more on how we allocate housing and who may be  eligible for housing, please read our Allocation Policy Document on the right of this page.

If you would like to submit an appeal, please email yourhome@nph.org.uk with your information and why you are appealing.
