West Northamptonshire Council to consult with residents about social housing provision

Published On: June 27, 2025By

Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that manages West Northamptonshire Council’s housing services. NPH is wholly owned by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).

At its Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 24th June, WNC recommended that its council housing provision be brought back under direct Council management instead of being managed by Northamptonshire Partnership Homes as an ALMO. The Cabinet approved this recommendation as a ‘minded-to decision’ in a phased manner, once a full independent consultation has taken place with tenants, residents, and stakeholders.

You can read more about this decision and the consultation process on WNC’s website here: Tenants to be consulted on future social housing provision in West Northants

The consultation process is now underway and NPH tenants are being contacted directly for their opinion. Whilst the consultation process takes place, please rest assured that it is business as usual for you and NPH. NPH will continue to provide the best possible service for residents so please request repairs and other services in the usual way, services remain unchanged.

Important Note for Council Tenants and Leaseholders:
If you’re one of our tenants, a leaseholder or freeholder of a council property managed by Northamptonshire Partnership Homes, you should have received a unique link via email, text, or letter to complete a separate survey.

If you haven’t received this, please get in touch via email. You will need to provide:

  • your name
  • the first line of your address
  • your postcode

We shall continue to post updates about the process on our website here. If you have any queries in the meantime, you can contact our Contact Centre on 0300 330 7003 or email tenantconsultationresponse@westnorthants.gov.uk
