Why do ‘Apprenticeships Work’?
It’s National Apprenticeship Week this week (5th to 9th March) with the theme - “Apprenticeships Work”.
Anthony, NPH’s newest apprentice says:
“It’s an experience you can’t get in college or school”.
Anthony is studying a Business and Administration Apprenticeship. He joined NPH in January after finishing college and now works in our Planned Investment Team. Anthony supports the team with the latest Major Improvement Works to homes in Northampton.
Why Anthony chose the apprenticeship route?
“It gives you your own responsibility. You’re getting yourself out and earning your own money”.
It’s a great route if you want to work and learn at the same time. NPH have new apprenticeships starting in quantity surveying and a new apprenticeship programme coming up in our responsive repairs team.
Opportunities aren’t just limited to college leavers with three current staff also studying apprenticeships while they work too.
